
Stop Settling for Generic UV Curing
We spent some time at the 2026 Printing Expo showing off our custom UV lamp modules. Now, these aren’t the kind of parts you just pull off a shelf and hope for the best. We build them from the ground up to handle the actual, real-world demands of high-speed printing. The battle with heat Here’s the thing: if you want your ink to cure fast, you need serious power. We use high-density LED arrays or tuned mercury vapor lamps to hit those high mW/cm² numbers. But there’s a catch. Cramming that much wattage into a small space creates a lot of heat. Fast. If your cooling isn’t up to the task, your LEDs will either shift their wavelength or just burn out. It’s a nightmare. That’s why we use aluminum nitride substrates or liquid-cooled heat sinks to rip that heat away from the diodes. We keep the temperatures in a very tight window so your output stays steady and you aren’t dealing with random dips in performance. Getting the light just right Not all UV light is created equal. Your ink has specific photoinitiators that only react to certain wavelengths. We don’t just give you a “standard” lamp. We tune the peak—usually 365nm, 385nm, or 395nm—to match exactly what your ink needs. Plus, we use custom reflectors and lenses to make sure the beam is even across the whole web. No more “zebra striping.” Just a clean, full cure from the surface all the way down to the substrate. Built for the shop floor We designed these to be drop-in replacements. You can wire them right into your current power rails without having to gut your entire electrical cabinet. And because print shops are loud, dusty, and vibrate constantly, we use industrial-grade connectors that actually stay put. We also seal the optics. Ink mist and dust love to coat lenses, and once that happens, your UV intensity plummets. As long as you keep your cooling loop running, these things just work. Simple as that.
