We use a high-purity quartz envelope. It handles the shock of rapid on/off cycling and lets the UV spectrum through cleanly. Inside, the coating is designed to keep the spectral output stable over the lamp’s life—so the heating performance stays consistent. On the practical side, the R7s connector makes installation straightforward. It gives you a secure, two-contact connection that can handle high current without getting hot itself.
