The trick to heating foil
We build our infrared lamps to hit the foil with concentrated, short-wave energy. The goal is simple: get that adhesive layer to its melting point before the foil ever touches the sealing roller. It’s all about the wattage-per-centimeter. If the power density is too low, you have to slow down the whole line, which kills your numbers. Too high? You’ll warp the foil. It’s a tight balance. And since nobody has time to rebuild their machinery, we make these as drop-in replacements. We build to your exact length and voltage. No rewiring. No messing around with brackets. You just pop it in and get back to work.
How we actually build them
We use high-purity quartz glass because it can handle the thermal shock without cracking. Plus, depending on what kind of foil you’re running, we can add specific coatings to the tube. These coatings help the foil actually absorb the heat instead of bouncing it away. We also don’t skimp on the connections. We use industrial-grade connectors—usually R7s or Sk15—so things don’t vibrate loose when the line is humming at full speed.

Getting a custom lamp in a week isn’t magic; it’s just about having the right stuff on hand. We keep raw quartz tubes and filaments in stock so we can cut and seal everything in-house. We don’t wait on other suppliers. One quick heads-up, though. If you push for maximum wattage in a really short tube, your lamp holders are going to feel the heat.
